How did you get into kiting?

I used to Windsurf lots, and Wakeboarding, kiting came along and my old man got some gear and we figured it out.
a few years later i moved to the isle of wight and It pretty much took over from everything else.
 
Why kitesurfing?

i love the freedom and accessibility of it. i feel you have the best bits of all the other boards sports possible in 1.
waves, wake, skate its all possible with a kite doing the right thing.
 
Whats your discipline?

I'm really into wake and park style kiting, love rails, kickers and bindings. I spend must of the time now either on rails or fully powered on flat water.
 
Favourite Move:

I love rails which are a real challenge to make, a-frames, gaps i love the thrill and challenge of hitting it and making it across.
In the flats its of course always the latest move i remember. But loving really powered mobes at the moment.
 
Wheres your favourite place to kite?

So many good places and its more about the people on the water than the place for me. But Woodies in WA is sick for flat water, Mokes in HI for kicker waves.
Margaret river for waves.
 
Whats your plans for 2009 and ahead?

To focus on park style riding really, i see it as a real future for the sport and want to push it here. Do another comp or 2 here and abroad but focus on photos and magazine work.
